Our Story
The History of Oak Hill United Methodist Church Preschool
Oak Hill United Methodist Church Preschool opened its doors in the fall of 1987. Several mothers of the church wanted to create a quality Christian education program for their young children. With seed money donated by the church, they were given one year to see if they could make this happen. The first class at OHUMC Preschool had 12 students and two teachers.

We have grown over the past 36 years and are licensed to serve 93 children per day. We have 11 classes and employ seven lead teachers, seven assistant teachers, a librarian, an administrative assistant, and a full-time director. We are a full ministry of the church and are led by the Preschool Ministries Team. The Preschool Ministries Team is composed of parents with children who are currently enrolled in the preschool, church members, pastors, and the director.
