Oak Hill UMC Preschool is a sweet, fun, loving and nurturing environment for children to first experience school. My kids love going to school everyday because they feel cared for by their teachers and they have grown in their friendships. From rodeo week to the spider guy coming, from the pre-k parade to the holiday class parties, and everyday in between OHUMC Preschool has created many joyful memories for our family and it holds a special place in our hearts.

We are grateful everyday for our second family at Oak Hill UMC Preschool. From the beginning, it's always felt like a supportive and loving community. I've met many mom friends here that I know will turn into lifelong friendships. My kiddo has food allergies and the Director, Ms. Jen, always worked with me on snacks, pizza day, and classroom food related activities in order to make the entire classroom more inclusive. She never asked me once to provide our own snacks or sat my kiddo at a separate table alone during lunchtime or excluded us from any sort of food related events. She showed our family great empathy, protection, and inclusivity and we never felt like a burden with our food allergies. More importantly, my child felt safe, confident, and absolutely loved going to school every single day!

We are incredibly fortunate to have found Oak Hill United Methodist Church Preschool. When you join, you become a part of a small, tight-knit community of loving parents, teachers, and children who grow together through the early childhood years. Everyone is welcoming and deep life-long friendships form with other families in the collaborative, play-based environment. The preschool is a joyful place where children grow their confidence and become life-long learners through the enrichment of flexible, hands-on, experiential play with peers. We are forever grateful for the gift of this sweet preschool for our family.

What a true gift it is to be part of the Oak Hill United Methodist Preschool. Starting from the moment you walk up being greeted with a huge smile and warm welcome by Ms Jen. Every teacher is a treasure, my family's 3 little kids have been lucky to experience almost every teacher. They provide such tremendous love and nurturing all while playing, playing and learning. It's like another home, dropping my girls off to preschool daily, safe and friendly. Everyone cares for each other, including all the other families. It's a small sweet preschool that I highly recommend to everyone.

We joined the OHUMC Preschool family in 2021 after the preschool we were attending had to close their doors. I was apprehensive to start my children at a new school, but the minute I entered the building and toured the school, I knew it was the perfect fit for our family. The director is phenomenal, and because of this, she has amazing teachers that continue to come back year after year. My children have thrived in this nurturing learning environment. As a former teacher, I feel confident that OHUMC Preschool has prepared our children to excel in their future education.
